Adding your users with the help of an Excel file – nothing could be simpler!
There are a few rules you need to know and comply with nonetheless :)
When there’s an Excel import, the Boost My Mail user database is updated in line with what the Excel file contains:
- A property change will be carried forward,
- A deleted (or empty) property will be deleted,
- A removed user will be deactivated,
- A modified group assignment will be carried forward,
- ...
We advise you to store and always work with the same Excel file for your successive imports.(There’s no daily limit to the number of imports you can carry out)

- The Excel file must contain the following columns in the header:
- firstname
- lastname
- company
- jobtitle
- streetaddress
- city
- postalcode
- phone
- mobile
- website
- usermessage
- disclaimer
- group
- The “email” column’s cells must contain an email address
- The "group" column’s cells can refer to several groups; they must be separated by commas
- To avoid any confusion due to Excel’s data formatting, we advise you to ensure that the whole Excel table is in "text" mode
